Rudy DiBiasi Memorial Guestbook

Comments:
Joann, I didn't know Rudy too well, but will always remember Christmas Eve at Harriet and Dennis' house. Rudy made the best Pina Coladas I ever tasted. To you Joann my sincere condolences. The memories you will have will last a lifetime. Michael sends his sympathy as well.

Allow me to start off by saying how sorry i am to hear about the passing of Rudy DiBiasi. i have been a long time friend of the DiBiasi family and it saddens me to hear this tragic news. Rudy was a phenomenal person. He would always put others ahead of himself and never ask for anything in return. When his nephew Jason and I were in band together he was always a huge supporter and would attend any events he could. although i only got to see Rudy at various family gatherings, he always treated me like family. Jason always spoke very highly of him and im sure in one way or another Rudy has always come through to help us when we were in need. My thoughts and prayers go out to the DiBiasi family and may Rudy DiBiasi rest in peace and watch over all of his loved ones.

I grew up across the street from the diBiasis. When i was a young boy i spent many hours hanging out with rudy in the garage watching him work on video games machines.

He was a great guy and we had allot of fun times.. I still remember some funny stories here are a few..

1. Rudy and i were driving in his van making pickups from the video game machines... A couple guys came up to us on atlantic avenue and told us they had new VCR's, Rudy say ill take one.. they were packed up great.. We got home and it was a box of bricks.. i would have been really ticked off. But Rudy just laughed it off and said they got me good.

2. We went on a trip upstate with my dad and of course the dumb kid i was i ended up flipping over on the 6 traxx vehicle.. Again Rudy just laughed it off..

Rudy was a great man and will be missed by many. I have many great memories of the times he put up with a pain in the * * * neighbors kid bothering him in the garage but always had a big smile!

You have made an impact of all of our lives.

Rest In Peace!

Steven Blaier

It's raining here and I can't help feeling it's the tears we all shed today. Thinking about you reminds me of all of us growing up on Madison Place , it seems so long ago and like yesterday all at the same time. It brings back wonderfull memories of our childhood together and even more of the kind, thoughtful and giving man you grew up to be. Your gentle ways could calm a storm, your voice though quiet spoke volumes. I feel blessed to have known you and been part of your family and my life. Thoughts of you will always warm my heart. You will be missed.

Rudy and Family....I thought I knew exactly what I wanted to say, now I have started writing and have found that I cannot think or write clearly. Today a family, friends and the world have lost a truly rare person. You are the kindest, most gentle, dear hearted person I have ever known. Thank you for being a part of my life, no matter how small or infrequent, your impact on my life and so many other lives is un-measureable. I am proud to say that I have known such a unique and rare man and will miss you incredibly. With all of the love, care and kindness you gave to all of us, I hope we have shown you how much we all love you and how much just being around you made a person feel proud to know you. I hope we all showed you how much love, admiration and respect we have for you. Most of all I would like to thank you, you have instilled a piece of you inside of all us that we will carry forever, and for my piece, I am truly thankful as any part of you makes me a better person. We love you!

Rudy, even though we havent seen each other in many years, me, now being a father of 5 remember all the good times that you,Joanne and my parents shared. From all the wonderful flatlands 10 block parties with crazy Shelly, may he rest in peace also, to the wonderful fourth of July parties shooting fireworks off for hours and hours to just sitting outside in my backyard just hanging out . These are memories that are priceless and these are the memories we should all remember being part of the flatlands 10 crew from adults to children alike. We were all one big family! I will never forget all the times you took me on your video route. May you rest in peace. You will be missed and loved!
